Jack Panton is the Managing Director of Affordable Housing Solutions and a leading advocate for sustainable, community-focused housing in Australia. With over 20 years’ experience in property development and investment, he brings a rare blend of commercial acumen and social purpose.
Starting at Development Victoria, Jack led strategic land acquisitions and major projects like the Docklands precinct. At RMIT University, he oversaw a capital works program, delivering next-generation educational and student housing infrastructure.
Over the past decade, Jack has focused on community housing, delivering more than 700 homes at Housing First, driving landmark projects like Viv’s Place at Launch Housing, and expanding statewide impact as CEO of Unison Housing.
Beyond development, Jack contributes to policy and advocacy through roles with Melbourne University’s Hallmark Research Initiative and Cardinia Shire Council. A former board member of the Council to Homeless Persons, he continues to champion long-term housing solutions.
